Ghyll Scramble
Running down from Weatherlam, Tilberthwaite Ghyll is a fantastic journey up a ghyll full of slate from the old quarries in the area. Pass massive slate heaps as you scramble your way up the ghyll. No big jumps here, but plenty to play in and a very accessible venue!

What to expect:
In these open sessions, expect to meet like-minded adventurers! Your instructor will meet you at the venue and sort everyone with the relevant equipment. You will then receive a safety briefing and be guided in the ghyll. Our Instructors will add challenges and keep an eye on everyone as you journey down the ghyll. Depending on the time of year, this can be a pretty chilly activity, but makes up for that by being incredible fun! The activity will last approximately two and a half hours, including time for changing at either end.
Minimum Age: 7 Years We can facilitate much younger children Ghyll Scrambling in private bookings. Please get in touch if you have younger children and would like to Ghyll Scramble.

Big group Discount:
